Sun Tzu said:  4. Thus, to take a long and circuitous route, after enticing the enemy out of the way, and though starting after him, to contrive to reach the goal before him, shows knowledge of the artifice of DEVIATION.

In business: 4. Thus, to take an effortful and difficult route to market, after enticing the competition out of the way, and though starting after him, to find creativity to reach profitability before him, shows knowledge of the clever art of variation.
